This environment will enable developers to migrate COBOL code, including Copybooks (Library's) directly to Microsoft Visual Basic in the form of a .VB file. LEGACY MIGRATION TO WEB

Migrating code from legacy systems such as IBM, ALPHA and UNIX to JAVA, HTML or even ASPX can deliver new life to products with minimal investments and even greater cost savings. Applied Business Communications will  be announcing a new MES (Manufacturing Enterprise System) coded as Phoenix, based on the functionality of several manufacturing packages including PRAXA, a Unitronix Corporation product, originally developed by Xerox Corporation. Phoenix will be web based and developed entirely using Microsoft's .NET technologies and their SQL-Server database. The target market will be small to medium sized manufacturing and distribution business in the US and Europe.
